Welcome to KRUSTALLIS.BLOGSPOT.COM, a website dedicated to Crystal Growing.
Bukit Panjang Govt High School Science Team (BPST) was founded in 1997. Crystal Growing (CG), one of the 5 units in ST, was founded in 1999. Despite being a relatively young CCA in BPGHS, CG has been faring reasonably well for the pass 7 years.
Our sessions include theory lessons on crystal growing and practical sessions of making the crystals itself. Not only that, we provide hands-on experience for our members through interesting experiments, such as the “water glass”. Members will embark on a process of learning through their individual self experience.
CG also aims to organize Crystal Growing Workshop at least once every year. These Workshops will be conducted by our very own trained members. We will hold one Workshop for the BPGHS Secondary 1 students, another for the Primary School students who are interested. Details of the Workshop will be arranged and posted on this website.
CG hopes to cultivate the interest of Science in our members, using different methods, rather than reading the facts off from the textbook. However, CG is not just about Science and competitions. We do emphasize on each and every member’s character and not just their academic results. CG is not a mere club, but rather a family of people, who all share a common interest in crystal growing.
